Easy Does It... Again

[picture of Easy Starter Kit]Moeller Electric will make life even easier for contractors and engineers thanks to the latest additions to its hugely popular easy starter kits.

The easy500 and easy700 kits provide everything an engineer needs for quick and easy installation of Moeller's comprehensive range of intelligent control relays – an ever popular choice in a wide variety of automation applications.

The easy range offers multiple functions, such as relay, timer, counter and real-time clock, all from a single unit. The new models in the range, the easy500 and easy700, are more powerful, more versatile and faster than their predecessors and, with a control circuit memory up to three times larger than the previous units, the range of potential applications is now considerably wider.

They are ideal for solutions that require interfacing, sequence control, batch control, timers or time switches; with applications including controlling lighting for buildings, temperature control for greenhouses and machine control – an application where easy will also help to reduce energy costs.

The easy starter kits are available in a number of different versions for either AC or DC power supplies. All versions include an easy control relay, the easy-Soft software package and a connecting cable and, in the case of DC versions, a power supply unit.

Easy-Soft, a drag-and-drop drawing software package, allows users to design the circuit diagram and test the configuration on a computer, in order to guarantee that the circuit functions correctly before it is put into action.

AC versions are compatible with both 110 and 240V power supplies and the DC versions with 24V. Control circuits support either 128 or 256 lines depending on the version. The basic toolbox starts at £120 – a saving of £20 – and a wide selection of options are available, including the Easy-MFD Display.
