If you find you have no time to build specialised combinations of electrical equipment Moeller’s new KeyBuild service is ideal for you.

KeyBuild is a new build-to-order service aimed at the steadily growing demand for product solutions that differ only slightly from the normal catalogue line. This new value added service is being offered to customers through our extensive network of Key Stockists.

KeyBuild is designed to supply special, relatively low-volume items that you don't have time to assemble yourself. All the components you need can be found in the Moeller catalogue, and in order to save you time putting them all together in a box, we at Moeller have found yet another way to offer a service that means you can concentrate on doing the actual installation.

The KeyBuild facility is BS EN ISO 9001 quality assured and with Moeller building your specialised assembly, you can be guaranteed a finished product of the very highest quality.

The catalogue in a box

In simple terms KeyBuild can be looked upon as a 'catalogue in a box'. In most cases, if it's in the Moeller catalogue it can be assembled into one of a number of types of enclosure. Standard KeyBuild assemblies will be based around DOL starters, DOL reversing starters, Star delta starters, soft starters, variable speed drives, contactors in enclosures, isolators in enclosures and customised tap-off boxes for busbar trunking systems.

The enclosures come in a wide range of sizes and are made from sheet steel, stainless steel or poly-carbonate. KeyBuild enables a wide range of options to be built-in, including extra indicators – such as trip lamps and overload status lamps – pushbuttons, voltmeters, ammeters, hours run meter, control selector switches and control transformers. In fact , we at Moeller will look at all reasonable requests and do our utmost to provide the right solution for you.

A dedicated service

From listening to you, the customer, and your needs we at Moeller have invested a great deal of time, money and effort into KeyBuild to ensure that it can provide you with product solutions. This is not another component service, but a unique build-to-order service that will enable us and our Key Stockists to offer a variation on the standard product base.

The whole emphasis of KeyBuild is speed – as 'time is money' – so we aim to provide an almost immediate quotation on price, short build times and speedy delivery.

As KeyBuild is a dedicated service we have assembled a dedicated team to work solely on building your enclosures. The team leader's main role is to ensure that the operation runs smoothly and is also responsible for producing the necessary engineering drawings and parts lists for assembly.

The KeyBuild production area has also been carefully planned to speed up the flow of materials from stock, through assembly and test into despatch. Our logistics department has ensured that the move ment of materials and goods is done in the most efficient manner.
